Our Dearest Leo,

We are full of sorrow and our hearts are broken but we are also filled with years of wonderful memories of you our dear Leo.

Our beloved Brother in law and wonderful Zio to our girls you were not just a brother-in-law but our brother. You were woven into the fabric of our family.

When gravely ill you fought a valiant and courageous battle with cancer with your loving wife Antonietta who constantly, faithfully and lovingly stayed by your side each and everyday.

We prayed each day for healing and we hoped for better days and the huge family barbecue you wanted to have when you got better. You never lost hope and never stopped fighting no matter how bad the news you were given.

Unfortunately our prayers were not heard. In the end we knew there was nothing left to do and you were in God’s hands.

Leo you fought a brave battle and you showed dignity. Throughout this ordeal you constantly expressed your love and appreciation for everyone. Each day despite the unbearable pain and suffering you were enduring you worried not about yourself but that your wife and son were okay.

Leo you have always been the most selfless, generous, thoughtful, loving and kind man anyone could ever hope to meet.

Dearest Leo our brother and freind you have been a good and gentle man who has filled all of our lives with so much of your goodness.

We are not ready to say goodbye to you. Me, Felicia, Sara and Isabella will forever miss you , your infectious smile, happy and light hearted demeanour, and how you would always end our get togethers by telling us “I love you guys.”
Leo we loved you too and will continue to for the rest of our days. Our family will never be the same without you.

God bless you as you take your place next to the other Angels we have lost.

With all our love,
Joe, Felicia, Sara and Isabella

My deepest condolences to Antonietta, Giuseppe and family on the loss of such a warm hearted, kind and wonderful man.
Leo welcomed me into the family with open arms, big smile and a big heart. I would always be greeted at family gatherings with a " Ciao Paisano" followed by a big hug. He included me as part of the of the family from day one. I have truly been blessed to have known you and i will miss you dearly, my friend, my Paisano, and my brother.

My brother ,my friend , you were the kindest and most gentle of souls ,I have ever met.
Always a smile on your face ,always a helping hand, always ready willing and able to participate and assist in
any way you could, most often without even being asked. We are truly lucky to have had you in our family.
You made us better ,you made our lives easier just by being you.

At a time when people like you are truly needed in this world ,you were taken from us ,this we will never understand.
We take comfort in knowing you left surrounded by immense love and entered Heaven surrounded by love as well.
Welcomed by so many of our beloved family and yours ,celebrating your arrival .
We are truly poorer for not having you with us but we will never forget who you were, how you brightened our
lives and how blessed we were to have known you.

Rest my brother ,until we see you again ,we carry all the love you gave us and all the love we had for you
in our hearts, until the day we can share it again.

Angelo
